I fell in love with photography at the age of 16, when my friend invited me to join an analogue photo developing studio in my hometown, Gdansk, in northern Poland. However, after I went to university to study English Philology and Journalism, I didn’t pursue my photography calling. I tried to ignore it for many years, working in marketing in corporations (because I believed that’s the only way to make a living in this world). Still, the photography flame was always burning inside of me.
And then, one day, I finally decided to go for it. I was living in London back then and I did the scariest thing – quit my comfortable job, bought a full frame camera and registered as a self-employed. I’ve been on this journey ever since and never look back. I feel that was born to do what I’m doing.
Now I’m a strong advocate for living with passion, doing what you love.
that everything happens for a reason and I always look for synchronicities (those little things that people also call meaningful coincidences). So, the fact that you’re here is probably not a coincidence!
My work is also my passion and I put a lot of effort and love into every single shoot. I believe in quality, not quantity. That’s why I don’t take on every project, just the ones I feel truly passionate about.
brunching with my friends in Barcelona, talking about mindfullness and entrepreneurship or dancing. In winter, you will find me skiing in the Catalan Pyrenees.
Despite having a busy schedule, I try to visit at least one new place every year. My favourite places so far include Burma, Venice, New York and Thailand. I’m dreaming of a road trip in California.
I believe that every photo session is an experience. That’s why I focus on having a great atmosphere during the photo shoot. I want you to have fun!
Before I take the first photo, I want to get to know you and feel a real connection with you. When you feel relaxed and at ease, you look natural and at your best. I love having chats and coffees with my clients, who quickly turn into new friends!
I shoot in the morning, right after the sunrise, or before the sunset, during golden hour. That’s when the light is soft, colours are just stunning and skin looks beautiful. I avoid shooting between 11 and 4pm because of heavy shadows under eyes (aka panda eyes) and overexposed backgrounds, etc, which doesn’t go along with my photography style. If there is no other option, I will shoot between those times, but will look for shaded areas or indoors options.
awesome couples from USA, Canada, UK, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain, France, Australia, Taiwan, India and Singapore, many of whom have become my friends.
I have also worked with brands and companies, such as Toni Pons, London Film Academy, Flytographer, Traffic Models, Kaplan International, Diamyd Medical and Monument Hotel.
