It was a hot early summer morning in Venice. The shops were still closed and the streets were empty. I followed Trina and Danyon with my camera along the canals and empty bridges.
It felt as if the city belongs just to us. I photographed them as they laughed, talked about the crooked venetian buildings (Danyon couldn’t believe they do not fall down) and admired the stillness of the city. I think it was one of my most romantic photo shoots.
