Event Photography Coverage in Ibiza

In July 2025, I had the pleasure to photograph an exciting networking event called “Go Banana” for Spanish entrepreneurs, influencers, and business owners, that took place in a secret location in Ibiza.

“Go Banana” is a new concept that gathers business owners in an exclusive setting, a place where they can relax, have fun, and get inspired. Over the 2-day event my colleague Stu Milleage, videographer and I, took photos and videos of the DJs, the ambience, the performers, speakers, guests, and all the providors. You can see the result below.

What’s Important When Photographing an Event

For me, capturing an event is about more than just taking pictures – it’s about telling the story.

I always make sure to pay attention to the atmosphere, key moments, and candid interactions that breathe in life to the occasion.

Using a variety of angles and compositions help me present a complete picture – from wide shots showing the scale to close-ups of details. I look for good lighting, and my presence is discreet, so that I can capture a genuine connection between the people and ensure the images feel natural and authentic. I love looking for those “in-between” moments that happen when nobody realises that a camera is pointing at them. That’s the real beauty of event photography for me.
