Surprise Proposal at the Bunkers

It was truly love at first sight. Jessica and Brian attended neighboring high schools, and Jessica was visiting Brian’s school on exchange for the day. She spotted Brian across the quad and told her friend that she thought the guy in the red shirt was cute. She didn’t really expect anything to come from that comment as back then, Brian was just a faraway stranger.

Turns out the friend she made that comment to also knew Brian, and later that night, she introduced Jessica to him and said, “This is my friend and she thinks you’re cute!”. Jessica was instantly embarrassed but little did she know Brian felt the same way the moment he met her. Fast forward 11 years later, and Jessica is still Brian’s best friend and confidant through all of life’s ups and downs. Brian says, there is no one else he would have rather grown up with and who he wants to spend the rest of his life with.

It was a challenge to surprise Jessica as she is extremely detail-oriented. Brian and Jessica had a vacation to Spain coming up, so Brian thought it would be the perfect opportunity to pop the question. We started planning his proposal 3 months prior to their trip. It was a chilly and windy morning with beautiful light and everything went according to plan!
